Record Division

The Benton County Records Division is a civilian support unit. It offers front desk services, manages general records maintenance or data entry for both the Sheriff’s Office and additional agencies within Benton County.

Staff responsibilities encompass filing all warrants, including those from smaller agencies in Benton County, entering orders of protection, Governor’s warrants, and body attachments.

They also process and distribute arrest record paperwork to the courts, oversee inmate file records, execute recall/quash/vacated orders, validate ACIC/NCIC for active warrants, handle weekly bonds for courts, prepare reports, assist with telephone inquiries and handle freedom of information requests.
