Marine Unit

The Marine Patrol of the Benton County Sheriff oversees the surveillance of the picturesque Beaver Lake, a sprawling 28,370-acre body with 487 miles of shoreline. The Marine Unit, manned by qualified full and part-time uniformed deputies, operates a fleet comprising four patrol boats and four wave runners. Utilizing cutting-edge technology such as boat-mounted radar, infrared cameras, and underwater sonar, the team ensures the safety of Beaver Lake, assisting boaters and swimmers in distress and safeguarding against criminal activities.
