The division operates two OH-58A Bell helicopters as public service aircraft. Served by experienced volunteer pilots with Part 91 and night vision goggle certifications.

The division ensures the helicopters remain safe and ready for various law enforcement activities. Such as missing persons cases, manhunts, patrol support, and natural disaster assistance.

Established in 1995 under Sheriff Andy Lee’s leadership, and currently led by Sheriff Shawn Holloway. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Division acquired aircraft through the 1033 program, offering a surplus of military equipment to law enforcement.
